Job Summary
The Facilities Project Manager will provide technical expertise to support facility program goals and collaborate with government stakeholders on classroom and laboratory upgrades, space planning, and equipment installation/removal. Responsible for identifying facility technical requirements, leading project life-cycle activities, conducting stakeholder meetings, coordinating working groups, developing facility Statements of Work (SOW) and technical specifications, reviewing schematics and drawings, supporting installations/modifications, monitoring maintenance contracts, analyzing financial/technical data, and aligning scope, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and resources with sponsors and cross-functional teams. Requires reading installation drawings and procedures, knowledge of TSIP/UFC, NAVFAC procedures, OPSEC, security clearance environments, and strong communication skills with military personnel, contractors, and stakeholders. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or five years of relative experience (or equivalents), 2+ years in relevant facility installation work or related apprenticeship/training, willingness to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs; PMP is preferred but not required. Experience with SOF or high-tempo organizations and familiarity with MS Office, Excel, Visio, and project-tracking tools is desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or five years of relative experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education
- PMP certification preferred, but not required
- Experience with NAVFAC procedures
- Experience working in secure and classified environments, with OPSEC, physical security, and AT/FP standards
- Experience coordinating with military personnel, government agencies, and contractors
- Experience supporting Special Operating Forces (SOF) units or similar high-tempo, mission-driven organizations
- Proficiency with project tracking tools (MS Project, Excel)
- Visio experience preferred, but not required
