Job Summary
Deputy Program Manager (DPM) in Washington, DC supporting contract execution, serving as liaison for SEA 21 leadership, managing daily contractor operations, cost/schedule control, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communications. Requires active Secret Clearance, a Bachelor’s degree in business/finance or related field, 10+ years in program/project management, Navy/DoD experience, and travel up to 10%. Responsibilities include staffing, subcontractor coordination, quality assurance, performance oversight, leading meetings, delivering contractual deliverables, and guiding operational efficiency and mission effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in a business, financial, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in program or project management
- Experience in Navy Project Management or similar DoD programs
- Demonstrated experience overseeing contractor performance and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements
- Proven supervisory experience, including hiring, training, and managing project staff
- Strong background in interpreting and applying DoD policies, regulations, and standards
- Ability to travel (up to 10%) for site visits or stakeholder meetings
