Job Summary

Vice President of Business Development to lead and execute growth initiatives for S&A, including opportunity qualification, capture, proposal readiness, and bid/proposal development. Will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, manage qualification reviews, develop capture schedules, and oversee proposal development across technical, pricing, and past-performance components. Role requires travel ~20-40% for customer calls, capture activities, and industry events. Must be able to obtain a security clearance and hold a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 15 years of relevant defense-industry experience. Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills are essential; experience with DoD/FEDCIV programs (Navy, Coast Guard, Army, Air Force, DHS, VA) and SBIR/OTA experience is preferred. Location: Plant City, FL. Exploration of prime/subcontract leadership, teaming analysis, and a track record of winning bids is expected.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in defense industry or related fields
  • experience in direct support, project/program management, and business development functions
  • experience with target identification, qualification, call plan, capture, proposal readiness, and bid and proposal development
  • ability to obtain a security clearance
  • strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • experience with prime contracts and subcontracts
  • familiarity with DoD and FEDCIV organizations (Navy, Coast Guard, Army, Air Force, DHS, VA)
  • travel willingness 20-40%
