Job Summary
Civil Engineer to lead a multi-disciplinary, employee-owned team in the design of municipal, county, and roadway projects across Eastern North Dakota. Will lead from concept through completion, provide technical direction during the design process, manage projects and budgets, foster client relationships, contribute to business development through proposals and client meetings, and oversee construction management. Responsibilities include site development, water distribution and sewage collection system design, understanding municipal, county, and state government processes, and coordinating with DOT facilities. Ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, North Dakota PE or eligibility to obtain within one year, strong communication and mentoring abilities, and proficiency with MicroStation or AutoCAD and MS Office. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Licensed Professional Engineer in North Dakota or ability to obtain within one year
- Technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Experience with project management, proposal development, and marketing
- Capability of supervising, mentoring, and evaluating staff
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team atmosphere
- Good driving record and valid driver’s license
- Ability to use civil engineering software such as Microstation and/or AutoCAD
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
