Job Summary
Senior Civil Engineer - lead and grow a multi-disciplinary civil engineering team to design and manage municipal, county, and roadway projects. Oversee design, provide hands-on technical direction and mentorship, and manage budgets, schedules, and resources. Drive business development, strengthen client relationships, and lead client meetings and proposals. Responsibility spans design and rehabilitation of water/wastewater facilities, stormwater systems, and DOT-related projects, with construction management and site visits. Requires PE licensure, 8–10 years’ experience, strong communication, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office. Office locations include Billings, Helena, Red Lodge, and Sidney, MT.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- 8–10 years of experience
- Experience with project management, proposal development, and marketing
- Supervising, mentoring, and evaluating staff
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- valid driver’s license
- Ability to use civil engineering software such as AutoCAD
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
