Job Summary
Senior Project Engineer leads the design and delivery of municipal, county, and transportation projects in Williston, ND, including guiding multi-disciplinary teams through planning, design, and construction phases; mentors engineers and staff; manages project scope, schedules, and budgets; builds relationships with local governments and regional partners; supports business development through proposals, client meetings, and identifying opportunities; requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Licensed Professional Engineer in North Dakota or ability to obtain within one year; demonstrates experience in project management, proposal development, and marketing; proficient with AutoCAD and MS Office; strong communication and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Licensed Professional Engineer in North Dakota or ability to obtain within one year
- Technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Experience with project management, proposal development, and marketing
- Capability to supervise, mentor, and evaluate staff
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team atmosphere
- Good driving record and valid driver’s license
- Ability to use civil engineering software such as AutoCAD
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
