Job Summary
Survey Party Crew Chief leading land surveying crews across multiple projects (construction staking, cadastral, boundary, ALTA, and topography). Manages field personnel, analyzes survey records (deeds, certificates of survey, subdivision plats), relies on AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble equipment, and delivers accurate field data and notes. Requires supervising and coordinating others, strong communication, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively with clients and the team; travel and occasional overnight duties are expected. Proficiency with survey equipment (GPS, Total Station) and maintaining organized data/files is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Land Surveying
- Associates Degree in Land Surveying
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel and work outside
- Some travel
- Some overtime
- Some overnight travel
- Ability to work independently
- Proficient in written documentation
