Job Summary
Develop system and reference architectures for expeditionary Assured Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (APNT) within mounted, dismounted, and command-and-control environments. Author technical specifications, deliverables, and briefs to convey information and courses of action to decisionmakers. Conduct modeling and simulation activities, evaluate military platforms for vulnerabilities to jamming and spoofing, and develop technologies to protect friendly forces from PNT attacks. Mentor staff, oversee system integration and testing to ensure effectiveness in contested environments, and collaborate with interagency partners on PNT challenges. Review vendor deliverables for compliance and assist leadership in implementing process improvements and gaining consensus on solutions. This role supports the Missile Defense Agency on the IRES contract at Schriever Space Force Base. Candidates require an Active Secret Clearance, 12+ years of experience, and a Real ID-compliant driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizen
- Valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card
- Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Active Secret Clearance
- 12 or more years of general, full-time work experience
- 6 or more years of directly related experience
- 1 or more years of experience working in a management or leadership role
- Experience as a PNT systems engineer/administrator supporting a large enterprise with knowledge of large operational environment
- General networking experience
- Current DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification or higher
- Recognized APNT subject matter expertise with a deep knowledge of the military tactics and technical methods used to control and protect PNT data in contested environments
