Job Summary

Guidance Navigation & Control Engineers at Senior/Lead levels will rapidly prototype, develop, and field novel space and hypersonic capabilities. You will design GN&C algorithms for spacecraft, re-entry vehicles, and hypersonic/airborne platforms; develop high-fidelity 6-DOF dynamics simulations; implement and test flight software (MATLAB/Simulink models and C/C++ prototypes); apply astrodynamics, flight mechanics, and trajectory optimization to mission design; support integration and flight tests in atmospheric and space environments; develop autonomy tools and guidance laws; troubleshoot operational anomalies; produce concepts of operations and test procedures; collaborate with systems engineering, avionics, test, and business development, and implement reusable automation tools. Required clearance/eligibility, citizenship, background checks, Real ID, and years of experience emphasize senior-level expertise and capability to operate in federal facilities. Described qualifications also include proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, GN&C algorithms, C/C++, Python, and a BS in a related engineering field; preferred advanced degrees and extensive experience in aerospace programs and space/hypersonic GN&C.
