Job Summary
Cimarron is seeking Software Developers to provide simulation and modeling development in support of the Kommon Integrated Test Environment (KITE) on a human spaceflight program. This position is fully remote. While the preference is for candidates to be based in Centennial, CO to facilitate in-person meetings and lab access as needed, fully remote candidates will be considered, with occasional travel required. Key Duties: Develop and execute flight software integrated tests based on the requirements in the Integrated Test Plan. Develop and troubleshoot KITE code and KITE tools to support development readiness and address identified errors in Formal Qualification Tests. Support Requirements Verification Closure as needed. Support responses to customer inquiries. Generate and facilitate presentation charts for Incremental Reviews, Build Closure Reviews, or mission-unique Software Release Audits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, or related technical discipline
- 5 or more years of software development experience
- Experience with C++ and Python
- Familiarity with software development and testing
- Experience interpreting formal requirement specifications
- Ability to support different shifts, including weekends, as needed
- Ability to support occasional travel up to 25%
- This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire
