Job Summary
Experimentation and Analysis Technical Analyst to develop and implement the Data Collection and Analysis Plan (DCAP) for Technology Operational Experimentation Events (TOEE) and Key Perforce Parameters (KPPs); execute DCAPs; build mathematical models to evaluate technology performance within +/-20% accuracy; prepare weekly status reports on technical progress and future plans for E&A projects; perform cost-benefit analyses to assess proposed E&A technologies against the Government’s budget; analyze alignment of E&A priorities with Naval S&T focus areas; identify future E&A technology needs misaligned with NRE guidance; represent E&A project data at Program Officer Portfolio Reviews and NRE Technical Exchange Sessions; coordinate priorities with ONR-G teams and NR&DE engineers and scientists.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in civil, mechanical, material, or industrial engineering or closely related technical field in engineering and physical sciences; and 10+ years of experience in Science and Technology Development
- Demonstrated knowledge of Experimentation Planning and Operations Research methods including DCAP, Modeling and Simulation, Wargaming, Technology Innovation Games (TIG) and other analytical methods to support S&T investments
- TOP SECRET US Government security clearance at time of contract award
