Job Summary
Resource Technologist within the Forest Genetics Section to support Climate Change Adaptation Scientist by maintaining and gathering information from long-term field genetics trials and providing records and data management for the climate change adaptation research program. Role involves field work potentially in remote locations, data management, GIS experience, budget/financial tracking, and coordination related to weather station equipment; candidates should be physically fit for field activities including travel by vehicle, boat, air, or on foot, with possible overnight or extended stays and outdoor work in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- University degree (science, engineering, resource management, or geography preferred) or technical diploma (engineering or resource management preferred)
