Job Summary
Structural Engineer in Training (EIT) at AE2S in Grand Forks, ND. Assist Project Manager with development of plans, specifications, technical reports, and estimates; assist in design and construction of structural systems including reinforced concrete, wood, masonry, structural steel, steel joists, and light gauge steel; support structural design of water/wastewater treatment facilities and of commercial/industrial/residential structures; perform construction observation and administration; perform design drafting for project drawings and details; travel as required and adhere to onboarding/background check requirements; preferred familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD; internship or prior experience in structural design or project management is a plus; must have or be eligible for Fundamentals in Engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (with a structural emphasis) or related field
- Successfully completed the Fundamentals in Engineering, or ability to complete within 6 months
- Working knowledge and experience using Revit, AutoCAD, and computer aided design software
- Strong written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and curiosity
- Ability to travel as required
