Job Summary
Assist individuals with disabilities in learning job tasks and gaining community independence through direct support. Provide transportation to various local locations while maintaining valid auto insurance and reliable independent transit. Complete required background checks, registry screenings, and DMV verification before beginning duties. Maintain CPR and First Aid certification throughout the role. Work flexible evening, weekend, holiday, and early morning shifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Human Services
- High School Diploma/ GED
- Must pass Criminal, State, and Federal background checks
- Must pass various registry checks
- Must pass DMV check
- Must possess auto insurance at the state minimum requirement
- Must be available for evening, weekend, holiday, early morning hours as needed
- Must have reliable independent transportation
- Must be able to travel extensively locally
- Must possess or be able to obtain CPR/ First Aid Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services area
- Experience working with the disabled
