Job Summary
Job Coach responsible for supporting individuals in employment programs, assisting in setting goals, and mobilizing resources for achieving them. Key responsibilities include developing job coaching plans, communicating with clients, guiding them in job tasks, and providing coaching on job search techniques. Qualifications include effective communication skills, proven experience as a job coach, organizational ability, and compliance with state agency requirements. Candidates must have a good driving record, pass drug screening and background checks, and may need to work evenings.
Required Qualifications
- Effectively read, write and communicate verbally in English
- At least 21 years of age due to auto liability coverage
- Meet and maintain all requirements of the applicable state agency(ies)
- Proven experience as job coach
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving ability
Desired Qualifications
- Specialized skills related to contractual needs preferred
- Experience in working with people with disabilities is a plus
- Experience in developing employment plans
- Working knowledge of computers and computer programs with aptitude to learn new systems
Additional Requirements
- Must have a good driving record which meets the minimum requirements for Evergreen and reliable transportation
- Must pass drug screen and criminal background check
- Must be able to work some evenings when required
