Job Coach

Job Coach in Life Unlimited's Employment Services department trains, mentors, and coaches program participants in individual or group settings to help develop work readiness, functional capacities, and vocational development. The role collaborates with employers and coworkers to tailor training and accommodations, assists individuals with learning new work tasks, helps identify natural supports at the work site, fosters understanding of workplace culture, creates job aids and task analyses, and maintains accurate progress documentation. Responsibilities include facilitating transportation for vocational activities, communicating progress to supervisors, maintaining confidentiality, adhering to ethical guidelines, and supporting positive community representation. Travel to support program activities may be required; the position emphasizes professionalism, time management, and a positive, respectful team environment.
