Job Summary
Teach and mentor clients in a transition-to-employment program for individuals with disabilities; deliver instruction through multiple modalities, develop creative teaching strategies, and model successful employment experiences. The instructor should be organized, motivated, and able to structure lessons; role supports supplemental or primary income. Servicing locations in the Mesa and Gilbert area. Hints from schedule indicate a part-time engagement with daytime hours and a flexible, supportive environment focusing on job readiness and client development.
Required Qualifications
- CPR & First Aid
- Article 9
- Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or able to obtain one
- Ability to pass background checks (E-Verify, Central Registry, etc.)
- Preferably one year of experience working in special education, social work, home-based care services, vocational, rehabilitative, psychology, or human services
- Ability to transport clients in a personal vehicle/Valid drivers license
