Job Summary
Job Coach - Floater provides on-site job coaching and training to clients in the Work Adjustment Training (WAT) program, coaching hard and soft skills (e.g., stress, time, and anger management, communication, organizational skills) to promote successful employment. Responsibilities include delivering confidentiality-compliant training, maintaining HIPAA and OSHA standards, documenting progress notes, coordinating resources, and covering multiple sites as assigned. The role requires strong communication, adaptability, teamwork, travel between worksites, and the ability to work in a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive environment with the NASW Code of Ethics in mind. On-site, client-facing position with occasional limited WFH approval after CEO authorization; must be able to obtain necessary clearances and certifications. Proficient in Microsoft Office, reporting, and maintaining accurate records; supports agency goals and training requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate's degree or higher in social work, behavioral health, or a related field
- Peer or Recovery Support Specialist Certification
- Minimum of one (1) year of industry-related experience
- Must be able to obtain fingerprint clearance within 90 days of hire
- Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Current CPR and First Aid certification required or must obtain upon hire
- Maintain compliance with Relias and BHT training requirements
- Able to travel between worksites and have reliable transportation
