Job Summary
Job Coach F/T at Goodwill Southern New England supports adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities in group supported employment. Responsibilities include training individuals to perform work tasks, providing transportation using agency vehicles and possibly personal vehicles, acting as day-to-day liaison with employers, ensuring production and quality control needs are met, applying behavioral management techniques, assessing environments for safety, and documenting progress to meet agency, state, and federal guidelines. Requires valid CT driver's license (or ability to secure within 90 days), potential PMT/CPR/First Aid certification, and strong communication and evaluative skills. A High School diploma/GED with 1–3 years related experience or a related bachelor’s degree is required; ability to read, write, and communicate effectively is needed.
