Job Summary
Job Coach position supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in community-based vocational services. Will manage a caseload of Community Inclusion and Individual Employment clients, assist employers in identifying and setting up jobs, identify clients’ job interests, provide job coaching and career development support to improve job skills, promote social integration with coworkers and supervisors, and document activities. Responsibilities include teaching work at job sites using simple training methods, monitoring client activity for productivity and quality, educating clients on company policies, maintaining regular communication with program coordinators and care providers, reporting progress, and participating in planning teams to develop goals. Requires English literacy, computer proficiency, background checks, and relevant certifications (First Aid/CPR and Bloodborne Pathogen within specified timelines); valid Washington driver license and vehicle with insurance; ongoing background checks every two years; regular mileage reporting; and adherence to licensing and agency policies.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred.
