Job Summary
Develop appropriate job opportunities for assigned clients using the Individual Supported Employment Model and supervise individuals to acquire daily living skills via TEACCH methodology. Complete skills assessments, support participants with VR enrollment, and advocate for career advancement and wage increases. Supervise clients on the job to ensure policy compliance, assist with transportation planning, and maintain accurate records while communicating progress to families. Provide ongoing follow-up support, assist with crisis intervention, and ensure participants transition to employment programs before training concludes. Work a flexible schedule in a cafeteria setting with up to 30% travel required, adhering to Universal Health & Safety Precautions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Associate's degree with and emphasis in Mental Health, Special Education, Psychology or Social Work
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and accounting software
- Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal with proactive communication style
- Customer service-oriented, strong organizational, time management, attention-to-detail and follow-up skills
- High level of accuracy and analytical skills
- Ability to promote teamwork and build effective relationships
- Ability to take initiative and meet objectives
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding personal information of participants and staff
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%
- Work a flexible schedule as required
- Successful completion of background process which includes: Local background check, Level 2 clearance (FBI, FDLE), clear TB test, medical clearance, drug test and reference checks
- Adhere to the use of Universal Health & Safety Precautions as applicable
- Must be able to lift boxes (up to 50 lbs.), including bending, stooping, stretching, walking, squatting, pushing, pulling, kneeling or sitting on the floor

- Behavior Analysis credentials or experience
- Minimum of one (1) year or experience working with vulnerable young adults
