Job Summary
Monitor progress through documentation to enhance job skills for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Assist clients in exploring career interests, securing employment, and developing skills for long-term success in integrated community work settings. Educate employers on benefits and opportunities of work with people with disabilities while advocating for inclusion and reasonable accommodations. Provide one-on-one support, coaching, and training to help individuals maintain meaningful employment. This role offers competitive pay at $18/hr with flexible scheduling in Hickory, Conover, and surrounding areas.
Required Qualifications
- One year experience working with intellectual and development disabilities (IDD)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18+
- Day-time availability
