Job Summary
Support a caseload of clients qualifying for Vocational and Community Inclusion services; provide job coaching and career development to improve job skills; assist employers and clients in identifying job interests and facilitating employment; document progress and communicate with the Vocational Services Coordinator/Director; maintain schedules, track client activities, and ensure compliance with policies and licensing; train clients at job sites using simple, repetitive methods; promote social integration and positive work outcomes; coordinate with care providers and families regarding client employment; ensure timely reporting, mileage documentation, and adherence to program objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, home staff, and administrative staff.
- Proficiency in the use of computers.
- Completes and stays current on all SAILS training, certifications, documents and paperwork.
