Job Summary
Provide top-of-the-line services to a team of adults with disabilities while training and supervising staff. Deliver hands-on support, including driving to various sites, using power tools and machinery, and performing physical tasks like lifting up to 50 pounds. Maintain accurate case notes and adhere to strict safety and clearance protocols. Work Monday through Friday in a team environment, balancing physical demands with effective communication and good judgment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Minimum of six months of experience working with adults with disabilities
- Increased technical skills related to field of work
- Successfully pass the drug test and background check
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification, or able to obtain and maintain a CPR/First Aid/AED Certification
- Fingerprint clearance card, or able to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card
- Provide proof of good driving
- Have a valid Arizona Driver's License and pass the Beacon driving test
- Article IX, and Prevention and Support certificate or able to obtain and maintain certification
- Ability to obtain and maintain a GSA clearance
- Ability to balance, bend, stand, walk, kneel, twist, stretch, climb, and sit
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Ability to write accurate, clear, and informative case notes
- Ability to tolerate environmental conditions, such as hot, cold, wetness, dust, noise, etc
- Ability to work, drive and travel independently to various sites
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work effectively with staff, clients, and the public
- Ability to be flexible and work in a team environment
- Ability to use good judgment
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to learn and use equipment
- Ability to use power tools, equipment, and machinery
