Job Summary
Manage and govern the taxonomy of job families, levels, codes, and profiles in Workday to align with industry standards and organizational needs. Analyze market benchmarking data and internal workforce metrics to evaluate taxonomy effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements. Enforce data governance standards to ensure high levels of completeness, accuracy, and integrity across the Job Architecture framework. Partner with Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and Strategic Workforce Planning teams to validate data structures and integrate job profiles with skills taxonomies. Act as the primary point of contact for taxonomy inquiries, driving change management efforts through training and communication campaigns. Present actionable business intelligence to leadership on taxonomy alignment and strategic goals.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in job architecture design, organizational design, workforce analytics, master data management, or HR systems management—preferably within a global, matrixed organization
- Expertise in Job Architecture frameworks and standards (Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, Korn Ferry, or equivalent)
- Proven track record managing complex data governance initiatives and driving enterprise-wide adoption of Job Architecture or classification systems
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and in HRIS platforms, particularly Workday (Job architecture, HCM, Talent Optimization)
- Advanced skills in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel, SQL)
- Experience with data governance, data quality management, and MDM principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and recommend effective solutions
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively within cross-functional teams
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry
- Knowledge of compensation structures, career frameworks, and workforce planning methodologies
- Familiarity with compensation benchmarking and market data integration
- Familiarity with talent mobility platforms, workforce planning tools, or talent intelligence platforms
- Certification in data governance, HR analytics, organizational design, or related disciplines
