Job Summary
Job Captain to coordinate consultants, translate conceptual designs into detailed construction documents, and oversee drafting production from concept through construction. Responsibilities include project coordination with project managers, designers, and team members to develop plans, schedules, and budgets; ensuring deliverables meet timelines and quality standards; assisting in design development; ensuring code compliance; conducting quality assurance of project documents; supporting construction administration tasks such as site visits, RFIs, and submittals. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required, with strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or equivalent professional experience
- 4+ years of architectural experience, including project coordination and documentation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and related design software
- Working knowledge of architectural principles, building codes, and construction methods
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, manuals, and procedures
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
- Technical Skills: Mathematical Ability (proportions, percentages, area, volume); Reasoning Ability: interpret instructions, problem-solving with multiple variables
