Job Summary
Senior AI Engineer to design, architect, and deliver scalable Generative AI solutions. Will serve as technical reference for Generative AI architectures, driving standards across squads and products. Responsibilities include designing end-to-end conversational AI solutions, building and evolving AI agents and automations, enabling AI-assisted engineering practices, and implementing robust security/governance for language models with HIPAA considerations. Lead POC lifecycle from ideation through validation to production, define reusable integration patterns with internal APIs, and ensure quality/testing for non-deterministic AI flows. Provide technical mentorship to mid-level and junior engineers and collaborate with Product Managers, technical leads, and QA teams to translate business goals into architectural decisions. Required skills emphasize cloud-native AWS delivery, hands-on work with LLMs, AI agents, MLOps, API design, and strong security-focused mindset.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of software engineering experience
- At least 1 year focused on Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning projects
- Programming Languages: Python, JavaScript, React; API development experience (FastAPI, Flask)
- Solid experience building applications using LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama, etc.) and RAG architectures
- Experience with AI agents and orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar)
- Strong cloud experience within AWS (Bedrock, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB) and cost/performance trade-offs
- MLOps: Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing; monitoring/observability of models in production
- Architectural vision: end-to-end AI solution architectures focusing on security, scalability, maintainability
- Experience collaborating with Product Managers, technical leadership, and QA teams
- Healthcare/Healthtech domain knowledge and HIPAA regulatory awareness
- Mentorship and technical leadership to mid-level and junior engineers
- Experience with containerization/kubernetes is a plus
- Nice-to-haves: Anthropic certification; experience with multi-agent orchestration frameworks; healthcare workflows knowledge
