Job Summary
Senior DevOps Engineer to lead a small team and partner with cross-functional groups to design, build, and optimize cutting-edge AWS infrastructure and platform solutions. Key responsibilities include leading CI/CD pipeline design and implementation using Bitbucket, architecting and managing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation, and ensuring high availability across production and development environments. You will conduct PoCs to evaluate new tools, integrate security best practices, and mentor team members on advanced DevOps practices while engaging directly with clients to understand needs, priorities, and timelines.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Extensive experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on platform architecture and designing scalable infrastructure solutions
- Proven experience in leading and managing a team, with strong leadership skills
- Proficiency in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Deep knowledge of AWS, with expertise in infrastructure provisioning and management
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience in performing PoCs and assessing new tools and technologies to enhance infrastructure and operations
- Security-focused mindset with a track record of implementing best practices for securing cloud-based and on-premise environments
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts, collaborate effectively across teams, and engage with clients to manage project scopes and expectations
