Job Summary
Assist designated teachers with individual and group supervision, behavior management, and instructional support plans for students under direct supervision. Carry out academic assistance programs, observe and collect data on student progress, and assist with individual student testing. Prepare and organize instructional materials, operate audio-visual equipment, and supervise setting up and clean-up before and after activities. Transport students in district vehicles for class-related activities, including trips to and from school if holding a Type 10 Driver Certification. Participate in staffing or parent meetings, assist parents and community members, and engage in staff development program activities. Work harmoniously with students, parents, and staff while communicating effectively.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Child Development Associates (CDA) Credential or above Registry Step 7 or above.
- Criminal history clearance.
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability through a formal state or local academic assessment.
- Valid driver's license (required for Oregon Type 10 Passenger Driver Certification)
