Job Summary
Provide instructional support to students and teachers in regular and special education settings. Assist with individual and group supervision, behavior management, and developing support programs under direct teacher supervision. Observe, collect data, and record student progress while preparing and organizing instructional materials and audio-visual equipment. Supervise activities, transport students in district vehicles, and participate in staffing or parent meetings as directed. Work harmoniously with students, parents, and staff, communicating effectively through frequent conversations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Criminal history clearance
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability through a formal state or local academic assessment
- Valid driver's license
- Oregon Type 10 Passenger Driver Certification
