Job Summary
Perform skilled nursing tasks delegated by a Registered Nurse, including oral hygiene, diapering, feeding, dressing, grooming, and physical rehabilitation such as range of motion and positioning. Implement Positive Behavior Support Systems interventions, Functional Behavior Analysis, and physical restraint protocols under direct supervision while documenting clinical and behavioral data. Carry out nursing care plans and comprehensive student management plans, including developing behavioral strategies prior to creating Behavioral Support Plans. Assist in developing individual programs of instruction and support under teacher supervision, participate in staffing or parent meetings, and accompany or transport students to and from school using a Type 10 Driver certification when required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Criminal history clearance
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability through a formal state or local academic assessment
- Demonstrated competence in district-required training activities OR equivalent training or experience as determined by the Director of Student Achievement
- Valid driver's license
- Oregon Type 10 Passenger Driver Certification
