Job Summary
Provide instructional support to students under direct teacher supervision, assisting with individual and group behavior management and developing support programs. Carry out academic assistance plans, observe and record student progress, and assist with testing. Prepare and organize instructional materials, including bulletin boards, and operate audio-visual equipment. Supervise setting up and clean-up before and after activities, and participate in staffing or parent meetings. Transport students in district vehicles for class-related activities, requiring a valid driver's license and potential Type 10 certification. Work 7.25 hours daily Monday through Friday starting August 31, 2026, at a rate of $17.58 - $23.13 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Child Development Associates (CDA) Credential or above Registry Step 7 or above
- Criminal history clearance
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability through a formal state or local academic assessment
- Valid driver's license
- Oregon Type 10 Passenger Driver Certification
