Job Summary
Provide instructional support to students under direct teacher supervision, including assisting with behavior management, developing individual instruction programs, and observing student progress. Carry out support plans for individuals or groups in regular or special education settings, with a primary focus on academic assistance. Prepare and organize instructional materials, operate audio-visual equipment, and supervise classroom activities. Assist with student testing, transport students in district vehicles, and participate in staff development and parent meetings. Work harmoniously with students, parents, and staff, requiring frequent verbal and written communication.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Criminal history clearance
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability through a formal state or local academic assessment
- Valid driver's license
- Oregon Type 10 Passenger Driver Certification
