Job Summary
Cardiologist needed for multi-specialty practice in Bronx, NY. Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care including patient evaluations, diagnostic testing (EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitors), and treatment planning for hypertension, heart failure, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, and valvular heart disease. Interpret cardiac studies, develop individualized management plans with medication, lifestyle modification, and referrals for interventional cardiology or cardiac surgery when indicated. Order and interpret labs (lipid panels, cardiac biomarkers, coagulation studies); educate patients and families on heart disease prevention and treatment options. Collaborate with primary care and other specialists to ensure coordinated care; maintain accurate EMR documentation; stay current with guidelines through CME and research. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings. Visa sponsorship opportunities available; full- or part-time schedules. Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Active New York State medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
