Job Summary
Provide comprehensive medical care to nursing home residents as part of a dedicated geriatric care team. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and chronic conditions (e.g., hypertension, heart disease, diabetes), prescribing medications and therapies, immunizing patients, maintaining detailed medical notes and records, coordinating referrals to specialists, and offering health and wellness guidance to residents and their families. The role emphasizes collaborative care within a geriatric setting, with opportunities for on-call work, research involvement, and a mix of full- and part-time schedules. Qualified candidates hold an MD or DO, possess an active NY medical license, and are board certified or eligible; visa sponsorship is available.
Required Qualifications
