Job Summary
Diagnose and treat illnesses, medical conditions, and injuries while ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests. Collect and maintain patient histories, prescribe treatments and medications, and explain procedures to patients and families. Monitor patient progress, coordinate care with specialists and staff, and advise on disease prevention and hygiene. Conduct research to stay current on field developments.
