Job Summary
Internist needed for a Nursing Home in Queens, NY. Responsibilities include consulting with patients to understand symptoms, diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and chronic diseases (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, heart disease), prescribing medications and therapies, explaining procedures and test results, monitoring progress, providing health and wellness guidance (including immunizations and preventive care), maintaining detailed patient records, referring to specialists when needed, supporting long-term care patients, and preparing official health documents. Must hold an active state license and be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
