Job Summary
Interview, examine, and diagnose patients' injuries and illnesses, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications. Stitch wounds, set bones, assist in surgeries, administer immunizations, and review medical histories to record patient progress. Educate and counsel patients and families while researching latest treatments and participating in outreach programs, house calls, and nursing home visits. Requires an active NY State License, Board Certification, and specialty experience. Salary is $130,000 - $150,000 per year for full-time or part-time roles (minimum 3 days/week).
