Job Summary
Internist / Nursing Home Physician needed in Bronx, NY. Board Certified or Board Eligible; active NY State License required. Residents and fellows welcome. This is a part-time role with a minimum of 3 days per week (also offered as full-time/part-time). Responsibilities include consulting with patients, diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and chronic diseases, prescribing and administering medications, explaining procedures and test results, monitoring patient progress, providing health and wellness advice, immunizing patients, maintaining detailed medical notes, referring to specialists, supporting long-term care patients, and conducting clinical research. Visa sponsorship opportunities are available.
