Job Summary
Registered Dietitian Health Care Facility Surveyor accountable for leading survey activities in long-term care facilities, leveraging CMS training (Long-Term Care Basic Training and SMQT) and independent decision-making to direct the survey process, with travel up to 75% and full-time weekday schedule. Responsibilities include prioritizing survey tasks, discussing conflicts openly, and coordinating with internal/external customers nationwide; notes on benefits and compensation are negotiable and extensive training opportunities are provided. Location is remote within Texas/Vise-TX area with remote work option; requires licensure to practice as a Registered Dietitian.
Required Qualifications
- Must have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics
- CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training and passed the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT)
- At least two (2) years of recent experience as a surveyor accrediting or certifying long-term care facilities
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Dietitian
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
