Job Summary
Registered Dietitian Health Care Facility Surveyor to support CMS long-term care surveys; requires CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training and SMQT, 2+ years survey experience, RD licensure, ability to travel up to 75%, independent decision-making, and strong prioritization/communication skills. Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics
- CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training
- Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT)
- At least two years of recent experience as a surveyor accrediting or certifying long-term care facilities
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Dietitian
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
- Independent decision-making skills
- Ability to set priorities independently and collectively in performing survey tasks
- Ability to discuss conflicts/controversy and seek assistance to resolve conflicts
