Job Summary
Registered Dietitian Health Care Facility Surveyor to support Quality Improvement initiatives for long-term care facilities nationwide. The role requires CMS training, SMQT, and the ability to travel up to 75% in a full-time capacity (Mon-Fri). The candidate must hold an associate or bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, current licensure as a Registered Dietitian, and a history of independent decision-making to direct and manage survey processes, with strong prioritization and conflict-resolution abilities. Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics
- CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training
- Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT)
- at least two (2) years of recent experience as a surveyor accrediting or certifying long-term care facilities
- current licensure to practice as a Registered Dietitian
- ability to travel up to 75% of the time
- U.S. Citizenship
- demonstrated independent decision-making skills to direct and manage the survey process
- ability to set priorities independently and collectively in performing survey tasks
- ability to discuss conflicts openly and seek assistance when appropriate
- travel and logistical flexibility for field surveys
