Job Summary
Registered Dietitian Health Care Facility Surveyor to support Quality Improvement Consulting Company; role requires CMS training, SMQT, and at least 2 years of surveyor experience accrediting or certifying long-term care facilities. Candidate must hold current licensure as a Registered Dietitian, demonstrate independent decision-making in directing survey processes, and be able to travel up to 75%. This is a full-time position with remote options in CT.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics
- CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training
- Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT)
- At least two (2) years of recent experience as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities serving residents of long-term care facilities
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Dietitian
- Demonstrated history of independent decision-making to direct and manage the survey process
- Ability to set priorities independently and collaboratively in performing survey tasks
- Ability to discuss conflicts openly and seek assistance to resolve conflicts
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time on a regular basis
