Job Summary
Registered Dietitian Health Care Facility Surveyor for a Quality Improvement Consulting Company, supporting nationwide internal and external customers. Requires CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training and SMQT, plus 2+ years of recent surveyor experience in long-term care facilities, active licensure, and US citizenship. Travel up to 75% is required. Works full-time (Mon-Fri) with extensive training opportunities and comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) with match, HSA, paid vacation and holidays, travel expenses covered, and company-issued travel card. Respond to surveys, direct the survey process with independent decision-making, and communicate effectively to resolve conflicts; capable of prioritizing tasks independently and collaboratively.
Required Qualifications
- Must have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics
- Must have successfully completed CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training and passed the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT)
- Must have at least two (2) years of recent experience working as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities that serve the residents of long-term care facilities
- Must maintain current licensure to practice as a Registered Dietitian
- US Citizenship is required
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time on a regular basis is required
