Job Summary
RN Health Care Facility Surveyor needed to conduct on-site surveys for Medicare-Medicaid certified facilities nationwide; role includes serving as team member or leader on surveys (recertification, comparative, complaint investigation, revisits) across multiple facility types, applying approved survey protocols, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations. Requires CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training and SMQT, an RN license, a nursing degree, 2+ years of surveyor experience, ability to travel up to 75%, independent decision-making, and strong communication/conflict-resolution skills. This is a full-time remote-position with up to 75% travel; benefits include health insurance, 401k, paid holidays, paid vacation, company travel, and extensive training.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training
- Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT)
- At least two years of recent experience as a surveyor accrediting or certifying long-term care facilities
- Current RN licensure
