Job Summary
RN Health Care Facility Surveyor position (Remote in the US) requiring an RN with an Associate or Bachelor’s in nursing, CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training, and SMQT. You will conduct on-site surveys of Medicare-Medicaid certified facilities to assess compliance with federal regulations, determine non-compliance, and communicate findings. Roles include serving as a team member or leader across surveys (recertification, comparative, complaint investigations, revisits) for varied facilities (LTACHs, ASCs, ICFs/IID, ESRD, PRFT, hospitals, hospice). Responsibilities include record reviews, staff/family interviews, tours, and ensuring plans of correction are acceptable; assist with training and participate in work groups. Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training
- Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT)
- Current RN licensure
- at least two years of surveyor experience in long-term care facilities
- ability to travel up to 75%
