Job Summary
RN Health Care Facility Surveyor—remote role with up to 75% travel supporting CMS-regulated facilities nationwide. Requires an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing, CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training, passing the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT), and at least 2 years of experience as a surveyor accrediting or certifying long-term care facilities. Must maintain current RN licensure. Responsibilities include conducting on-site surveys of Medicare-Medicaid certified facilities to assess compliance with Federal regulations, documenting findings, communicating non-compliance, evaluating quality of care and facility systems, developing plans of correction, and assisting with training. Travel up to 75% is required; position is remote with nationwide responsibilities and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training
- Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT)
- At least two (2) years of recent experience working as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities that serve residents of long-term care facilities
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
