Job Summary
RN Health Care Facility Surveyor in Mississippi. Flexible 100% remote role with up to 75% travel nationwide supporting surveys across long-term care and related healthcare facilities, certifying/recertifying facilities to Federal requirements. Responsibilities include conducting on-site surveys, preparing off-site materials, interviewing staff and families, evaluating quality of care and facility systems, communicating non-compliance issues, and assisting with training and group work. Requirements include an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing, CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training, SMQT, at least two years of surveyor experience in long-term care accreditation/certification, and current RN licensure. Benefits include salary between $75,000 and $90,000 per year, full-time schedule (Mon-Fri), remote work with substantial travel, and comprehensive health, retirement, and travel perks.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training
- Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT)
- At least two (2) years of recent experience as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities serving long-term care residents
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
