Job Summary
RN Health Care Facility Surveyor responsible for conducting on-site Medicare-Medicaid certified facility surveys to determine compliance with Federal regulations across diverse care settings, with up to 75% travel and remote work arrangements. Requires CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training and SMQT, a nursing degree (Associate or Bachelor’s), active RN licensure, and at least 2 years of surveyor experience in long-term care facilities. Required Qualifications
- Must have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training and passed the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT)
- At least two (2) years of recent experience working as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities that serve residents of long-term care facilities
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Demonstrated history of independent decision-making to direct and effectively manage the survey process
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time on a regular basis
