Job Summary
RN Health Care Facility Surveyor responsible for conducting on-site and remote surveys nationwide in facilities such as long-term care, ASC, ICFs/IID, ESRD, PRTF, hospital, and hospice. Will serve as a team member or team leader on surveys (re-certification, comparative, complaint investigations, revisits), apply approved survey protocols to assess compliance with Federal regulations, perform record reviews, interviews, and observations, and communicate deficiencies and plans of correction. Travel up to 75% is required; position is 100% remote with travel. Requires CMS Long-Term Care Basic Training, SMQT, and RN licensure. Required Qualifications
- Must have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Must have CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training and SMQT
- Must have at least two (2) years of recent experience as a surveyor accrediting or certifying long-term care facilities
- Must maintain current RN licensure
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
